From the article: Fatah and Palestinian Authority Torture and Repression, 1994-2008
We often hear about Israel's disproportionate and sometimes barbaric use of force--in Gaza in January 2009, in Lebanon in 2006, in the Occupied Territories on a smaller, but more chronic, scale since 1967. We don't hear as often about Palestinian human rights and extra-judicial abuses against Palestinians, including illegal and political detentions, torture and executions of "collaborators" and dissenters. Are the two situations in any way comparable?
The Arabs are worse...
- If the Arabs laid down their weapons, there would be no war in the Middle east. If Israel laid down its weapons, there would be no Israel in the Middle east.
